I believe that when people play instinctively and have fun they start to discover their real pleasure of been on stage. From that pleasure all great CircusTheatre is born. A CircusTheatre that’s full of freedom and imagination, that responds to life and not to psychological drama. A CircusTheatre that rapresent human conditions, of sheer playfulness, that lives in relation to the audiences and thrives on a sense of spontaneity and risk.

CHARACTER & COMEDY
An energetic and playful theatre workshop. Fun, liberating and empowering. We will use theatre games to unlock the participants freedom, presence and pleasure to be on stage. We take games very seriously. They are not only warm-ups to do before you start to make theatre. Games are at the essence of the theatre work. We will discover how games cools our mind and enable us to go into our body, present, dynamic, engaged, amused. Complicity, fixed point, rhythm games..
CLOWN
In this workshop we will look at what makes you funny. Elena will guide you through exercises that helps you to reconnect with your inner idiot. There are as many clowns as people. Every clown is different. It’s not a style, is more about being yourself and discovering what is uniquely funny about you.
We will play games, do exercises developing trust and complicity with the group.
The clown is 100 percent in relation with the audience always finding games to make people laugh. He/she will go to any extent to make people laugh. Through a series of playful exercises you will be encouraged to follow the impulse, being adventurous and taking risks.
